Milwaukee, WI: 65 Unit Commercial Property

Category 6 (CAT6) Network Cabling & Termination, Fiber Optic Cabling & Termination

  • Milwaukee, Eastside, North Shore, Downtown
  • Commercial, Multi Unit Property
  • Category 6 Cabling, CAT6 Network Cabling, Fiber Optic Cabling, Everstream Fiberoptic, Everstream Network Cabling, Everstream CAT 6 Cabling, Low Voltage Cabling, Low Voltage Network Cabling, Head End Termination

Thank, you to the folks at Enigma & Eastmore Property Management Groups for selecting BC Neville Tech to be their low voltage partner on this project.

We ran a total of 14,000 feet of Category 6 (CAT6) network cabling within the 65 units in the building.

Low voltage cabling has the capacity to handle the a multitude of vital systems, such as HD video, audio, and Wi-Fi cabling—the bulk of technology infrastructure—which is why its essential for businesses and big jobs like this one.

The job required considerable understanding of architecture and building practices/standards going back to the construction of this nearly 80 year old building.

Substantial concrete drilling & boring was required to complete the quoted project. The professionals at BC Neville Tech called on their industry leading 30 plus years of low voltage and building practice knowledge to deliver an exceptional end result for the client.

Finally, BC Neville Tech’s experienced installation staff neatly organized cabling and terminated to 3-24 Port CAT6 Punchdown Blocks, jumped out with seven-foot Vanco CAT6 patch cords to switches and Everstream Fiber line coming into the building.

The Punchdown Blocks are a cable management bar to keep cables tidy and efficiently organized on the back of the panel clearly numbered and labeled ports to help you identify connections.

In-Home Feature Entertainment Wall: Waterford, WI

In-Home Feature Entertainment Wall: Waterford, WI

BC Neville Tech was invited into this Waterford home to install an entertainment wall that is both streamlined and functional. The client requested a 65″ Sony HD LED XR65A90 TV with a complete sound system mounted together with no wires showing at all.
We selected the Klipsch Cinema 1200 Sound Bar and Subwoofer which are mounted together on an Amazon brand Articulating Arm Mount and a Sanus SA405-BI, including cabling. Not only can the whole system be articulated easily for best viewing from multiple angles, the client doesn’t need a media cabinet to hold the sound system or cable box which saves room and gives the space an uncluttered look.
TVs are also susceptible to tipping over, and is always a concern with toddlers and pets in the house. Securing it to the wall is a great way to ensure safety and peace of mind.
We were happy to complete this installation which included mounting the client Sony HD LED TV and running Ethernet and HD Coaxial Cabling to accommodate Spectrum cable box which was discretely mounted behind the television.
We installed a Vanco 280751 IR Kit management system to allow the Spectrum remote to communicate with the remotely located box.
Our professionally trained staff was able to transform this empty wall into the client’s feature entertainment wall in just one afternoon.
Please contact the industry leading professionals at BC Neville Tech for flatscreen or surround sound installation or any of your homes low voltage cabling needs.

Home Theater New Construction Custom Home: Hartford, WI

Home Theater New Construction Custom Home: Hartford, WI

BC Neville Tech’s industry-leading staff have worked with this client and their builder/trades for over a year, from blueprint to final finish, to design and implement a Smart home system, both an exterior surveillance system and home theater system, that the client will utilize and enjoy for years to come.

We installed the Hikvision surveillance system featuring five exterior turret cameras, and one fully controllable PTZ Exterior Dome Camera to cover the perimeter of the home. The Hikvision cameras—Hikvision EKI-K82T46, ECI-T44F2, DS-2DE3304W-DE—are all connected with a CAT6 ethernet cable and originate from the wall-mounted A/V rack in the basement, and are connected to a rack-mounted Hikvision eight Channel NVR ERI-K108-P8.

Finally, each Smart TV has been wired directly with a CAT6 ethernet cable originating in our A/V rack in the basement and is connected to a Luxul 16-Port Ethernet Switch.

The main home theater with eight additional zones of audio, powered by a Yamaha RXA2 with Music Cast Smart control, is located in the gorgeous open concept timber-framed Great Room. As we do regularly, BC Neville’s team worked directly with both the homeowner and trades to ensure that the integration of electronics in the custom barn door inset, which houses the 65″ TCL QLED and Proficient, worked with the client.

Proficient LSB3 mounted directly to the tv using a Sanua SA405-B1-soundbar mounting bracket, and the subwoofer a Proficient FS8 Dual 8″ powered sub. Finally, the seven-inch rear dipole speakers are located at the rear of the seating area for optimal sound. The cabling for all of the electronics and speakers in the home theater originates in the basement A/V rack.

The great room home theater TV is mounted on a Peerless TVA775 articulating arm mount, allowing the client to pull the television out from the custom built-in and articulate the tv and soundbar together towards the kitchen or a preferred angle within the Great Room.

Additionally, this home has eight additional zones of stereo music comprised of a mixture of Proficient 6″ In-Ceiling speakers C641, C621, C695s, KEF 7″ In-Wall & In-Ceiling speakers Ci200RR-THX, Ci200Ql, Ci200RS-THX, And 6″ Proficient All-Weather Outdoor Speakers AW650.

All of the secondary audio zones are connected to a Yamaha Aventage RXA2 smart receiver. They can be controlled with the Yamaha MusiCast App throughout the home and patio to select music, listen to a game or radio, turn up or down the volume, or mute the system.

Please allow the industry-leading professionals at BC Neville Tech to design your new home’s technology, low voltage Smart home system.

Ironwood Golf Course: Sussex, WI

Ironwood Golf Course: Sussex, WI

BC Neville Tech had the privilege of working with Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, WI again for an audio visual installation in the commercial party space.  Last year we installed their outdoor audio and paging system, this time their existing commercial amplifier needed to be upgraded so we replaced it with a current JBL commercial VMA-1240.

We also installed a new 12U A/V rack and completed cabling necessary to accommodate the new main equipment location.  The rack gives a locked secure location for the A/V equipment, while offering easy access to the equipment and wiring for future upgrades or service. The JBL VMA-1240 powers a total of 3 different zones of audio with a total of 12 speakers; eight Bose indoor/outdoor speakers and four Atlas commercial speakers.

Ironwood’s open-air party barn, the most talked about event venue, will be ready to rock for its first event next season! This is the ideal place to host a wedding, social gathering, fundraising event, or any special event and we’re thankful to have played a role in making it so. Here in Wisconsin you just never know what the weather be like on any given day; Mike and his team thought of everything when they designed it to also be fully enclosed to accommodate events in sub-par weather.

The fully-functional barn includes through-the-wall service to outdoor seating, a bar, and a Bluetooth stereo system with a wireless microphone allowing you to create your own social atmosphere. This was a fun collaboration with Mike and his team in selecting the best equipment to ensure there aren’t any issues during important events.

The speakers are strategically placed so your guests can hear speakers and music whether they’re inside or out. The multi-zone controller/amp allows you to play separate music inside and outside if you so desire. The wireless microphone gives speakers the freedom to move around during their talk.

Thanks to Mike and his team at Ironwood Golf Course for their continued partnership with BC Neville Tech!

Great Room & Master Bedroom Home Theater System: Pewaukee, WI

Great Room & Master Bedroom Home Theater System: Pewaukee, WI

We had fun installing surround sound in a great room and master bedroom, along with outdoor audio, for this Pewaukee home.

Our client had just purchased this home in the Deer Haven Subdivision in Pewaukee and wanted to complete the family’s home entertainment system before moving in. We see this often at BC Neville Tech. Clients are planning to include technology, security, and home theater systems into the build more and more often.

Our experienced sales/design staff had several phone conversations to identify the family’s primary needs for home entertainment and low voltage cabling. We also met on-site before closing the final design.

This client has a double fireplace with no existing cabling and wanted to have both sound and a television mounted above the fireplace on both sides.

In the Master Bedroom, we completed the necessary low voltage audio/visual cabling and added a 55″ LG Nano Cell HD TV on a Peerless articulating arm wall mount. Lastly, we mounted a KEF soundbar to deliver excellent space, filling music in their bedroom.

On the opposite side, in the Great Room, we completed cabling for a new 65″ LG NanoCell HD TV on an articulating Peerless wall mount. The family’s primary gathering spot; we wanted to accompany the new TV with a great-sounding surround sound system.

We certainly accomplished this with a JBL 5.1 surround array featuring a TV-mounted soundbar, floor-standing subwoofer, and wall-mounted left and right rear speakers, together delivering the ideal atmosphere to enjoy their entertainment as a family.

Finally, we installed one pair of 6.5″ Proficient Rock Speakers flanking the client’s patio. These all-weather speakers remain outside year-round and Sound great for music or listening to the game on your patio.

All of the entertainment equipment within the home is powered and controlled by a Yamaha RX-A2 : 2 Zone smart surround sound receiver located in the basement. The system can be entirely operated remotely with the client’s smartphone or tablet using the Yamaha MusicCast App or the supplied remote control.

The client was delighted with the finished system and looks forward to years of family entertainment.

Thank you, Mike! We at BC Neville Tech hope you enjoy your new home and home entertainment system for years to come!
