Phase Two Fireplace Theater: Bay View

Phase two (click HERE to see phase one) of our recent project completion in Bayview was completed this week once the client’s remodeling contractor had completed their basement remodeling project. All low voltage cabling for this project was completed several weeks back when we completed the client’s great room Sonos home theater.

BC Neville Tech’s experienced systems design staff worked directly with the client’s builder to complete this wiring ahead of drywall, while the project was in rough or stud phase which resulted in a substantial cabling cost savings and a more flexible design.

The basement Rec Room Home Theater consists of a 65” LG G3 OLED SMART TV, with a Sanus In wall Articulating Smart Mount, Binary High Speed Optical HDMI. The clients speaker package consists of (7) Bose Virtual Invisible 791, premium in-ceiling virtually invisible loudspeakers, and a Klipsch KC62 Subwoofer to complete this home theaters speaker array, which resulted in an exceptional visual and audio experience.

In the adjoining Bar we mounting a 43” Samsung QN90D corner mounted using a Peerless extra long articulating arm mount. Additionally, we installed a pair of Bose Virtually Invisible 791 in-ceiling loudspeakers for music. Finally, behind the scenes doing the heavy lifting in today’s smart home, is the final component to this system; a complete Luxul home network upgrade, with wired access point coverage and processing power enough for all of todays and tomorrows smart home products.

The Luxul home network consisted of two primary components, wired and wireless. The wireless component consists of (2) Luxul hardwired Long Range Access Points XAP-310 / LXXAP-1610 which extend and boost the high speed signal delivering strong coverage through the clients entire home and outdoor living spaces.

Which brings us to the second component of the network upgrade, the wired side. The wired side is designed to have all electronics which can be hardwired, resulting a a dual benefit to the client. First being a strong and consistent signal speed will be sent to those wired devices, eliminating buffering or lags.

The second benefit to hardwiring all electronics is the clients WiFi bandwidth remains available in full; resulting in better speeds on your phones and tablets. The wired component is achieved with a combination of a Luxul XWR-3150 Epic 3 High Speed Router, and XGS-1008 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch.

All in wall CAT6 Network cabling required was completed by BC Neville Tech. This client was very happy that we were able to deliver this completed project just in time to enjoy with their family during the holidays.

Whole Home Smart TV Mounting & Cabling: Brookfield/Waukesha/New Berlin/Menomonee Falls, WI

Thank you to our recent client in the Chaucer Subdivision of Brookfield! We’ve had the pleasure of working for several clients in this beautiful neighborhood over the years, helping each one personalize their home entertainment and network systems with our custom solutions.

This project involved mounting three TVs and creating a clean, cable-free setup with in-wall cabling. In the Great Room, we installed a 65″ Samsung FRAME TV, carefully running all necessary cabling through the wall to a discreet furniture piece below the display. The FRAME TV provides a unique aesthetic touch, transforming into artwork when not in use, which complements the room’s ambiance.

Downstairs, in the basement family room, we mounted the client’s 65″ LG OLED TV on a tilt mount, allowing for an optimized viewing angle that makes movie nights more comfortable for everyone.

For the upstairs den, the client had specific requests to position their LG OLED TV below the fireplace for a cozier, more immersive experience. To meet this need, we selected the 700 Series Mantle Mount, a versatile solution that allows the client to easily lower, raise, tilt, and swivel the TV for perfect viewing angles. The Mantle Mount is particularly beneficial in spaces where wall height might otherwise compromise comfort, making it a fantastic choice for fireplaces and high-mounted displays.

In addition to the mounting work, BC Neville Tech ensured surge protection in all locations, safeguarding the client’s valuable electronics from power fluctuations and providing them peace of mind.

To support seamless streaming and connectivity, our experienced technicians installed hardwired network cabling to each TV location, as well as several other areas throughout the home. Hardwiring the network significantly boosts streaming speeds, ensuring smooth performance for media, gaming, and work needs. We integrated the new cabling into an Eero mesh network system, which extends the reach of the Spectrum router, delivering a strong and consistent wireless and wired connection for every device in the home.

Smart House Upgrade and Media Room: Existing Construction Residential

One of our recent whole-home smart house upgrades includes a dedicated media room. We’ll get into the technical aspects of this project in a moment. First, we want to focus our time on working with Marshall and Diana on planning and implementing their vision, highlighting their gorgeous high-end 85″ Samsung Home Theater.

Our smart home upgrades have completely transformed this home from tech out-of-date to the most modern smart home. The changes, though mostly behind the scenes, are significant. They include: Whole Home Wired & WIFI Conversion & Upgrade, Smart Camera System with Deep Learning & Facial Recognition, Whole Home HD Antenna, Smart Music, and an integrated Smart System Controller and App interface.

Our clients, Marshall and Diana, have just started enjoying the benefits of their new smart home. While we can’t predict the future, we’re confident that their home will continue to deliver over the years and decades to come. This is the result of our thorough understanding of their needs and wants, which is always our starting point.

Next, it is our job to identify the equipment and design(s) that best accomplish the prospective client’s needs and wants. In many cases, two or more options meet or exceed the client’s needs and wants.

In this case, it is our job to educate the client about the differences between those options so that the client can make a fully informed decision. This was very much the case with Marshall and Diana, who were wonderful to work with from the beginning.

They knew what they wanted, and from our initial on-site consultation, the communication was top-notch. This allowed us to deliver a solution that exactly fit every parameter Marshall and Diana laid out for us at design. This ideal client relationship provides for a seamless transfer of ownership of the system after training.

It also allows the client to be as involved in the process as they desire. The result is a better client understanding of the system’s operation and more use of home entertainment and smart home systems.
We will now dive into this project’s specific services, equipment, and system design.

This client contacted us from our industry-leading 5-star rating on Google and 30 years of experience designing and installing some of southeastern Wisconsin’s most prestigious home and business entertainment, smart home, and lighting control systems.

We bring this experience and commitment to excellence to every project we undertake. This client requested a “Turn-Key Great Room Entertainment System” with several ancillary needs, including poor internet signal, fortifying the perimeter of the home and yard, and supplementing TV coverage with streaming and a Long-Range HD Antenna.

Our experienced design staff listened to the client’s needs for each of these different technology systems. Our system designer identified the equipment that met or exceeded the clinics’ needs and developed three separate designs representing each of those options. The client then selected the system that best fits their household’s individual and specific needs.

Great Room Entertainment System: Featuring an 85″ Samsung: QN90 4K Smart TV with a Snap AV: Episode Premium Soundbar, Strong: Heavy Duty Professional Articulating Arm Mount, 1Pair 8″ premium Snap AV In-Ceiling Rear Speakers, Yamaha RX-A4 Smart Receiver and a Universal Remote Control MX 990: Smart System controller. The previous equipment drives the Great Room Entertainment System.

In the Attic, we installed an ultra-long-range HD antenna to bring HD programming to the home while supplementing cable stations with streaming. This allowed the client to cancel their cable TV subscription.
Whole Home Smart Wifi & Wired Internet: The client raised low internet signal and range issues.

In today’s home entertainment/smart home world, no aspect is as important as a strong, reliable, and secure home network. Araknis network components deliver just that; this client’s outdated home network and cabling were brought up to date using 2) Range Access Points, a High Power Dual WAN Router, and a strategically placed 24-Port POE Switch.

BC Neville Tech’s industry-leading System Designer and Custom Installation techs worked hand in hand to both utilize and convert the existing CAT5 cabling used for phones to Network outlets, ready to be used for any of the various modern technologies that require wired internet connectivity.

Additionally, BC Neville Tech’s experienced technicians ran cabling for any devices needing wired internet, including the (2) Long-Range Access points, solving the range limitations the client raised at the initial consultation.

Now, the client experiences an extremely fast wired network connection for streaming, surveillance cameras, and many more devices. Secondly, they no longer have range issues or drop-out spots within their home or extensive outdoor living space.
