BC Neville Tech was proud to be selected as the low voltage installation company for the Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, WI for their newly built private party barn that resembles an 1800’s barn. This is the second completed project for them this summer; the first being their new outdoor audio system and PA.

The installed indoor/outdoor sound system includes: Bose outdoor rated speakers tied into the interior audio system, featuring commercial-grade indoor/outdoor speakers from Atlas sound, a professional Shure BLX wireless mic, that’s connected to a wall-mounted AV rack containing the DBX Zone Controller.

We thoroughly enjoyed working on this project as the Ironwood’s party barn is the most talked about event venue here in Wisconsin. The barn is used for golf parties, corporate events, graduations, birthday parties, and weddings.

During the warmer Wisconsin spring, summer, and fall seasons the barn can be opened up to operate as an open-air facility. Because the weather can be a bit harsh here and can change quickly, the barn can also be enclosed to accommodate events in sub-par weather.

The stereo system and wireless microphone have iPod capability allowing guests to play their own music and create their own social atmosphere.

The barn is a fully-functional event space that includes a bar with through-the-wall service to the outdoor seating that overlooks the golf course and has easy catering access. The spacious venue is also the perfect location for a fundraiser as it’s got great traffic flow for different activities such as registration and auction prize gazing.

Not only is the client extremely happy with the end result, but we also couldn’t be happier in knowing that hundreds of people will enjoy celebrating big life events in this beautiful space with a robust sound system that’s customized for their needs.

Sussex: Outdoor Sound System Installation

BC Neville Tech recently worked with a family in Sussex, Wisconsin to install Bose Outdoor Speakers in a covered patio. Our team not only installed and programmed the equipment, we also completed any wiring needed for speakers as well as the new volume control. We took our time to ensure the wiring was done properly, up to code, and is hidden, giving it a clean look.

The client was thrilled that all the wiring was concealed and they could enjoy their new speakers while outside all summer! Being able to listen to their favorite tunes with family and friends creates a relaxing and friendly environment. This seemingly small touch gives their outdoor living area a personal feel.

This system is powered by an Onkyo 7.1 receiver. They now have a multi-zoned audio system; one zone inside their home, and with the second zone feeding the patio speakers. The whole system is controlled with a Universal Remote Control MX980, with an RF Base Station giving the client the ability to use the remote control throughout his home and patio.

The universal remote control allows you to easily program your entire multi-zone home audio system, giving you full control from the palm of your hand. The base station is basically a fixed communication location that is part of a network’s wireless system—it relays information to and from the receiving unit, in this case, the Onkyo 7.1 receiver.

Onkyo’s new A/V receiver is built specifically for high-definition media and has a remarkable processing capability due to its HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface). This receiver delivers the latest in versatility, with multi-room playback, a full connectivity suite (with switching and upconversion), satellite radio connectivity, room calibration, and integrated system control.
