Place Of Worship: New Berlin, WI

Place Of Worship HD 16×9 Two Screen Upgrade

  • Sony HD Projector
  • Screen Innovation’s 133” 16×9 HD format screens

BC Neville Tech was called in by this place of worship we had previously worked to upgrade the cabling from Component cabling to HDMI cabling from their control board to the two Sony HD projectors currently in place.

Once this image quality upgrade was complete, the next step in the client’s fiscal improvement plan was to increase the size of the old 4:3 screens, which were in place with larger 16×9 HD format screens. Our design team worked with the worship and church leadership to select the most appropriate screens for their application.

At BC Neville Tech, we have over 20 years of industry-leading experience working with architects, builders, clients, and management, to deliver the desired result. This client landed on Screen Innovation’s 133” 16×9 HD format screens.

BC Neville Tech’s experienced technicians removed the existing screens and installed the two larger Screen Innovation HD formatted screens.

Project Note: BC Neville Tech’s installation staff designed and fabricated a custom floating bracket system to accommodate the client’s desired application.

Please contact us for your custom application.

Our unparalleled staff brings unique skillsets allowing us to design and implement custom-fabricated results in metal, stone, and wood.

  • 2420 2-Channel IQ Amplifier
  • 14-2 HD Speaker Cabling
  • 48G Optical HDMI Cable
  • MusicCast
  • Roku

About four years ago, BC Neville Tech was lucky to be brought into this project. The client had a high-end Sunfire Subwoofer, which was not outputting sound. We attempted to service the subwoofer, but it did not prove cost-effective. So the client opted to replace the Subwoofer and add a second.

BC Neville Tech’s experienced system design staff worked with the client to identify the ideal subwoofers for his system. At this time, the client also decided to upgrade his old Denon Theater receiver with a new Yamaha RXA2080 smart receiver with MusicCast. The client’s major improvements were smart control through Yamaha’s MusicCast smart control app, current generation HDMI, arc capability, and added wattage/amplification.

These upgrades were completed, and the client was extremely happy with the system’s enhanced functionality and controllability. Approximately six months later, the client reached out and said he wanted more power. The power he was seeking for his Polk tower package would be equivalent to a live music space. The only way to achieve the client’s request was to add separate power amps.

Working with BC Neville Tech’s experienced system design team, all separate amplifier options were considered. The final two considerations were Macintosh Amplifiers or LEA Amplifiers. After careful consideration, the client liked the wattage and control features the LEA amplifiers offered.

We went with three separate amps: two 4420 4-Channel IQ Amplifiers and one 2420 2-Channel IQ Amplifier. Before the new amplifiers went in, the client requested that the cabling and equipment (including the new amplifiers) be moved to the basement.

At this time, all speakers and subwoofers were required to use 14-2 HD speaker cabling, and a new 48G Optical HDMI cable was pulled. Using the preamps of the Yamaha RXA-2080 with the power of the LEA separate amplifiers was exactly what the client was looking for.

BC Neville Tech delivered concert-quality volume and clarity at a private home on Pewaukee Lake. If you are looking for high-level audio/visual design and integration at its best, please reach out to BC Neville Tech’s design team. We would be pleased to develop a system your family will truly love!

The Terrace Outdoor Living Space: New Berlin, WI

Outdoor Living Space and Pool Home Entertainment System

  • Sonos Arc Sound Bar
  • Sonos Amp
  • Proficient C801
  • Samsung 75″ The Terrace Partial Sun Outdoor QLED 4K Smart TV
  • Luxul ACS-3100
  • Luxul XAP-1610
  • AGS-1024
  • Proficient 820i & 630i

This job was really fun! Both to design and work with the clients and contractors over the past year. The result was truly spectacular!

At BC Neville Tech, we are brought into many cool projects. This project was one of our favorites. We were brought into the project in May of this year to consult the client on a new Audio/Visual system for their new pool and multi-level outdoor living space.

The client currently had Control4 and Sonos as their primary control system and music streaming. However, the client’s goal was to migrate away from the Control4 system with our audio/visual design as it was outdated and would require updating wiring and equipment. The client was never happy with several operational issues and limitations of the Control4 system installed by a previous integrator.

Some of the other system requirements which needed to be taken into consideration were the appropriate zone quantity and layout of Proficient Rock Speakers. This was crucial for two reasons; the client wanted to be able to hear the music and tv throughout the entire outdoor living space and pool area.

However, this had to be accomplished at a low to medium volume to be able to enjoy the integrated entertainment system without disturbing the client’s neighbors.

This was uniquely challenging in this home’s backyard, which has a natural amphitheater shape, amplifies sound and bounces directly to neighboring homes.

We took careful consideration when laying out the speakers in this system. We achieved the desired saturation with a combination of Built-In Speakers, all-weather rock speakers, and a Soundbar. The result is a truly sensational-sounding and looking multi-zone home entertainment system. Specifically, the 75” Samsung The Terrace is the outdoor theater’s foundation.

Delivering a true theater environment with unparalleled picture quality for viewing day or night. The 75” Samsung Terrace is accompanied by a Sonos Arc smart Soundbar which delivers the front array of the outdoor theater; the soundbar is paired with four Proficient 8” In-Ceiling speakers to complete the 7.1 surround array layout.

Enjoying movies or watching the game on a gorgeous summer evening in true 7.1, 4K. What could be better? In addition to the outdoor theater, we installed a total of ten 8” Proficient Rock Speakers and two 8” Proficient In-Ceiling speakers in five zones, each independently or controlled simultaneously.

Each zone is connected to a Sonos Amp, delivering the appropriate amplification and zone control for each secondary zone. Finally, we implemented a Luxul wired and Wi-Fi home network to supply the necessary streaming bandwidth to the Sonos zone players and new smart tv.

This was accomplished by installing a new Luxul ACS-3100 extended range router, with a Luxul AGS-1024 24 port switch located in the client’s basement Media Rack, along with two strategically located Luxul XAP-1601 extended range access points. Resulting in lighting-fast streaming to wired and wireless devices.

All necessary cabling was completed by BC Neville Tech’s professional staff. This project specifically included trenching, future conduit, and speaker/network/HDMI tie in to existing basement media rack.

Project Update November 22, 2022: The client was so overwhelmingly satisfied with BC Neville Tech’s design and implementation of their new outdoor living space’s home entertainment system; we have been hired to rehab their existing in-home entertainment system.

Stay tuned for project updates and photos!
