Existing Construction Commercial Project: Shorewood, Milwaukee, WI

32-unit network cabling project including two ubiquiti beams located at rooftop.

BC Neville Tech brings industry-leading knowledge of multi-unit, multi-level commercial properties to each commercial project we take on. This most recent 32-unit building in Shorewood/Milwaukee was no different.

We’ve worked with this owner for several years now, and he reached out to have each unit networked with a category six cable and two additional rooftop locations to accommodate two Ubiquiti beams installed on the rooftop.

BC Neville Tech’s experienced sales, project management, and installation staff worked directly with the building manager and building tenants to efficiently cable each unit and complete category six and fiber punch-down distribution in the lower-level parking garage.

This building is a four-level concrete structure with completed level-to-level concrete boring. Don’t hesitate to contact one of our experienced design teams If you own a multi-unit commercial building requiring low-voltage cabling. See the project photos below!

The Power of Category 6 Cable

In today’s digital age, where connectivity is key, having a reliable and fast network is crucial. This is where Category 6 cable, also known as Cat 6 cable, comes into play. Cat 6 cable is a type of twisted pair cable that is designed to support high-speed data transmission and is a reliable and high-performance solution for modern network setups.

Enhanced Speed and Bandwidth

One of the primary advantages of Cat 6 cable is its ability to provide higher data transfer speeds and increased bandwidth. With a maximum frequency of 250 MHz, Cat 6 cable is capable of handling data rates of up to 10 gigabits per second (Gbps) over short distances. This makes it ideal for applications that require large amounts of data to be transferred quickly, such as video streaming, online gaming, and file sharing. By upgrading to Cat 6 cable, you can enjoy a smoother and more efficient network experience.

Improved Signal Quality and Reduced Interference

Another significant advantage of Cat 6 cable is its improved signal quality and reduced interference. Cat 6 cable is constructed with tighter twists and better insulation compared to its predecessors, such as Cat 5e cable. These enhancements help to minimize crosstalk, which is the interference caused by signals bleeding into adjacent wires. By reducing crosstalk, Cat 6 cable ensures a more reliable and stable connection, resulting in fewer data errors and a higher quality network performance.

Future-Proof Investment

Investing in Cat 6 cable is a future-proof decision for your network infrastructure. While Cat 5e cable may still be sufficient for many current applications, Cat 6 cable provides room for growth and future advancements in technology. By installing Cat 6 cable, you are preparing your network for the increasing demands of tomorrow’s digital world. Whether it’s the emergence of new high-bandwidth applications or the need for faster data speeds, Cat 6 cable will be able to handle the challenges that lie ahead.

  • MM815 Motorized Drop Down & Swivel Mantle Mount TV Bracket
  • Sonos ARC Soundbar

As always, look at the project photos to see the difference! BC Neville Tech has the custom installation experience and delivers time and again to our great clients in southeastern Wisconsin. You can expect the highest industry installation standards implemented on every project we take on.

See the quality difference of a BC Neville Tech installation by Watching the video of this mount in action or looking at any of our library of project photos. Whatever your residential technology needs, BC Neville Tech has your solution. This recent project in Southeast Wisconsin’s Delafield, Hartland Lake area was no different.

This client hired us for our extensive experience in TV mounting over natural stone fireplaces. The added variable to this project was the fireplace’s irregular size, shape, and projection. The stone made this project extra challenging.

BC Neville Tech is lucky enough to have a complete woodworking shop onsite. As we do on many occasions, we created a custom support board, sanded, and color match painted the support board with the same Mantle Mount MM815’s matte black finish.

In addition, we had to consider the large size of the new TV: Samsung 85″ QN90C and Sonos ARC Soundbar. Also, the Mantle Mount MM815 Motorized is quite heavy. Considering these factors, we installed the appropriate carrying anchors to support the custom load-carrying board.

Finally, we completed the necessary cabling, including high-speed optical HDMI, category six network for streaming and control cabling, and speaker cabling for the Sonos Arc Soundbar. Both the client and I are pleased and proud of the finished product of this project.

It’s pretty cool to push a single button and see an 85″ Samsung TV drop several feet and swivel to your ideal viewing position! Check out the video below!

Adjustable Viewing Angles

One of the standout features of the MM815 Motorized Mantle Mount TV Bracket is its ability to adjust the viewing angle of your TV. With just a touch of a button, you can effortlessly raise or lower your TV to the perfect height. This is especially useful if your TV is mounted above a fireplace or on a high wall. You no longer have to strain your neck or compromise on your seating position. Whether you’re sitting or standing, you can easily adjust the TV to your preferred viewing angle, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable TV watching experience for everyone in the room.

Space-Saving Design

Another advantage of the MM815 Motorized Mantle Mount TV Bracket is its space-saving design. When not in use, you can easily push the TV flat against the wall, saving valuable floor space. This is particularly beneficial for those with smaller living spaces or for those who want to keep the focus on other décor elements in the room. The motorized feature allows you to effortlessly move the TV out of the way when you’re not using it, giving you more flexibility in how you arrange your furniture and maximize your living space.

Easy Installation and Remote Control

Installing the MM815 Motorized Mantle Mount TV Bracket is a breeze. The package includes all the necessary mounting hardware and instructions, making it easy for you to set it up yourself. Once installed, you can control the movement of your TV with the included remote control. The motorized mechanism is quiet and smooth, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free TV viewing experience. You can easily adjust the height and angle of your TV with just a touch of a button, without having to get up from your seat.

The MM815 Motorized Mantle Mount TV Bracket is a game-changer when it comes to optimizing your TV viewing experience. With its adjustable viewing angles, space-saving design, and easy installation, this TV bracket offers convenience and comfort like no other. Say goodbye to neck strain and hello to a more enjoyable TV watching experience. Upgrade your home entertainment setup with the MM815 Motorized Mantle Mount TV Bracket and take your TV viewing to new heights.

Milwaukee, Third Ward: Home Theater and Multi-Zone Whole Home Audio SyStem Update/Upgrade

Milwaukee, Third Ward: Home Theater and Multi-Zone Whole Home Audio SyStem Update/Upgrade

For many reasons, both first-time clients and loyal existing clients call BC Neville Tech to update or upgrade the outdated technology in their homes and offices.

In this case, we did the home theater update for two reasons.

First, the existing receiver was defective, and the technology is 12 years old was out of date and nowhere near the current quality. We installed a new Denon AVRX3700H: 9.2 Channel 8K Ultra HD AV Receiver with WI-FI, HEOS built-in, and voice control. We chose this system because of it’s quality and functionality. It’s a wireless multi-room sound system with a free app giving you full control from your smartphone or handheld device.

BC Neville Technologies also installed a Vanco HDMI splitter to allow the client’s Apple TV, Sony Blu Ray, and Denon AM FM tuner to be played over the client’s existing Speaker Craft MZC 66 whole home keypad music system — a heavy duty amplifier and controller for in-home audio.

We upgraded the cabling where necessary to allow 4k & 8k viewing through the client’s Sony Bravia Smart TV.

Finally, we removed all of the obsolete wirings from the old system and neatly secured the cabling to look more appealing and allow for easy service or additions to the system in the future.

We reprogrammed the client’s Universal Remote URC MX-980 to control the new upgraded equipment and trained the client on system operation.

The client was very happy with the quick installation, completed in one day, and was most happy with the enhancements to the system with the new equipment, such as music streaming and smartphone control from anywhere in the home or patio, to name a few.
