Project outline: custom fabricated ceiling exterior mount of 65″ LG 4K TV.

BC Neville Tech is happy to provide custom fabrication/building services for this outdoor theater at the design and installation phases of new construction.

Our dedicated staff has professional architecture, sound design/dampening, building training in the custom A/V sector. Because of this, we’re able to complete custom speaker frames/grilles, ceiling suspension systems for speakers or TVs, and as with this application custom metal fabrication.

We were asked to create a custom ceiling pole mount that would allow the client to complete 360-degree rotation, and tilt ability in the cleanest way possible.  See photos below showcasing the custom system mount we fabricated at BC Neville Tech.

The client has truly enjoyed this outdoor space since we installed this 65″ LG 4K TV. The TV is connected to the client’s HD antenna that’s strategically installed in the attic, connected to a Yamaha surround sound receiver located in the basement media rack and tied into five In-Ceiling Proficient Speakers.

We installed a high-quality HD antenna in the attic for height (to get great reception) and protection from the harsh Wisconsin weather that’ll bring in stations from over 60 miles away. We also run an antenna test so you know which channels are available to you. An antenna allows you to receive all major networks, local TV channels, sports, news, as well as stream your favorite shows over the internet.

The sound receiver, the center of your home theater system, was installed in the basement so it’s out of sight ensuring a clean look in the living space. We worked with the client to select a high-quality receiver that meets their needs as a family.

They’re thoroughly enjoying watching NFL, College, MLB sports in surround sound in their new outdoor space!

New Construction Prewire: Whitefish Bay, WI

New Construction Prewire: Whitefish Bay, WI

We’re honored to be working with John Kannenberg Homes on this beautiful contemporary new construction prewire project in Whitefish Bay, WI. We recently completed all the low-voltage cabling and conduit for this roughly 6000 square-foot new construction residential home.

The home has eight TV locations, one HD projector location, three 7.1 surround Sound Theaters, and two 5.1 Surround Sound home theaters. All speakers are recessed and will be flush with the ceilings and walls. All of the televisions will be wall-mounted to keep the contemporary feel of the home. Additionally, we prewired for surveillance cameras around the perimeter of the house. Lastly, we wired for five additional zones of audio throughout the home.

This family will be able to stream multiple devices at the same time, allowing each person in the family to watch or listen to his or her desired videos and music selections. We’ll also install a Multiple-Access point Luxul Home network system giving them an additional access point on the opposite side of the home to ensure complete WiFi coverage throughout the entire house.

We worked with the developer to design a low-voltage plan to accommodate smart home features at the time of design and have implemented all of the cabling as noted. On a big project like this, we start by meeting with our clients, so we have a good understanding of their audiovisual and entertainment needs.

We then meet with the builder to synthesize cabling, wiring, and equipment installation into the design of the home. From there, everything is timed out with the contractors as the house is finished. We’ll go back to this home several times in coming months to add lighting and equipment as the building progresses.

Low-Voltage Systems for New Construction Home on Nagawicka Lake, Delafield, WI

Once again BC Neville Tech was brought in to consult on all the low-voltage audiovisual systems for this amazing new construction home on Nagawicka Lake in Delafield, WI. We were able to advise the builder, Orendorf Custom Homes, on specific electronics to fit the overall aesthetic that the designer, Source One Project Solutions, and client was looking for. Some of the highlights are a Sony XBR 65 inch 4K TV with an integrated 7.1 surround sound system. The client has six zones of audio in addition to their home theater.

All of the source equipment is remotely located in the client’s home office. Hiding away the equipment creates an extremely clean look in each of the rooms, leaving only the built-in speakers and wall-mounted television visible. In many locations, the client decided to paint the in-ceiling speakers to make them virtually blend into the ceiling.

We used Yamaha receivers, featuring MusicCast app and URC MX HomePro controller’s, with Total Control 2.0, throughout the home. Total Control 2.0, the complete whole-house automation system, combines your home theater and smart home technology into an intuitive, easy-to-use system. You have the ability to control your lights, thermostat, locks, and shades. The URC MX HomePro system integrates with thousands of products, allowing you to create a system that’s perfect for your family. It also gives you substantial upgradability when adding additional smart devices within the home in the future.

The URC MX HomePro system also gives you full controllability of audio or video in each zone while walking around the house with your smartphone or MX HomePro controller. In addition, we also installed a single surveillance camera 24/7 monitoring system in the driveway. The client can watch live and streaming video and receives alerts with recorded clips of triggered events.

This latest commercial project, working with a local chiropractor to set up his new office space in designing an integrated audio system, while giving him local and smart phone control in each of his patient spaces; waiting room, exam rooms, and roller-table/massage rooms independently. Additionally, BC Neville Tech was tasked with implementing all of the networking in the new office.

We were happy to deliver a great solution for both the audio system, as well as the networking system. We implemented a built in speaker system in each of the patient spaces for a clean and uncluttered look, featuring 6-inch in-ceiling speakers from SpeakerCraft and local volume controls from Proficient. These easy to use switches give the Doctor and employees the ability to independently control each of the six specific patient spaces.

The Yamaha stereo receiver, powering the integrated speakers, features a “MusicCast” app giving the user “walk-around” control with the a smart phone or tablet”. Additionally, BC Neville Tech ran and terminated all of the offices CAT6 Network cabling for office equipment and x-ray machines. All of the audio system equipment, and networking patch panel equipment, is located in a Middle Atlantic Wall Mounted Audio/Visual/Network Rack.

BC Neville Tech is proud to be part of the 2018 Milwaukee Builders Association (MBA) Parade Of Homes Model with Source One Project Solutions.

We were extremely excited and honored to be asked to provide all of the low-voltage, entertainment, smart home control for Source One Project Solutions 2018 parade model, “step beyond green”. The focus of this home is healthy, sustainable, green building practices, and in using healthy building materials. We’ll be implementing amazing audio and video using cutting-edge technology for controlling the entire system featuring the Universal Remote Control (URC) MXHomePro platform.

We implemented an eight-zone two home theater entertainment system throughout the home. Featuring the most cutting edge technology on the market today:

The home also features built-in in-ceiling and in-wall speakers throughout giving the client a beautiful clean look for both sound and video. Please notice some of the photos of the main equipment rack located in the mechanical area of the basement which houses all of the homes head and equipment.
